Dotticure Sandwich Nail Art

Nope. Not an actual sandwich nail art. By sandwich, I meant the nail art where you put layers of your gel polish under and above your chunky glitter polish which makes a similar look with bokeh. I watched this method through Packapunchpolish's Youtube tutorial. She admitted this isn't her original but her video is the first video I watch which has this kind of nail art, so I'll give the credit to her.

Anyway, her video made me thought of a great way to use my sheer polishes.

The materials I used:
Bobbie Base Coat
Colortrends Tea Rose from their Dollhouse Collection
Caronia White Satin
Dotting tools
Sassy Colors Top Coat

I used my sheer polish of Colortrends Tea Rose, since I don't have gel polish. Same goes with Caronia White Satin which I used as the chunky glitters.

First step, I put a base coat to protect your nails from staining.
Second step, I applied one coat of my Colortrends Tea Rose.

You will see in the photo that this polish is really sheer.

Third step, I put random white dots on it.

Fourth step is I put another coat of my sheer polish over the dots. Yep, just like a sandwich.

Then the next three steps are the repetition of third and fourth step. After that, put another layer of random dots on your nails. It is okay to overlap the dots on your nails.

After that, it should look something like this.

Be careful on putting the sheer coat. Don't put too much or it will become thick. See how this looked kinda bokeh. I just love this design so much and it is so easy to do.

I just can't get enough of this design! This is so simple yet cute.
