Dotticure Sandwich Nail Art

Nope. Not an actual sandwich nail art. By sandwich, I meant the nail art where you put layers of your gel polish under and above your chunky glitter polish which makes a similar look with bokeh. I watched this method through Packapunchpolish's Youtube tutorial. She admitted this isn't her original but her video is the first video I watch which has this kind of nail art, so I'll give the credit to her.

Anyway, her video made me thought of a great way to use my sheer polishes.

Caronia Solvent

This is just a repost. I messed up with the pages on my first post of this. Anyway, here it is again; My Review on Caronia's Solvent

Caronia Solvent

So, I was strolling in SM Department Store and found a rack of nail polishes and nail care stuffs. I wasn't really planning of buying any of nail products because I didn't bring enough money with me but, I still did. Oh, the struggle!

I was looking for nail thinner for quite a long time because some of my polishes became sticky and thick. I threw some of it months ago and there were only two of them left. I saw this Caronia Solvent which I always see but never bought. I got curious and read the bottle.

OMG One Dip Nail Polish Remover

One of the tools I bought with my dotting tools. I have been seeing this product a lot and there has been great reactions from Filipino nail artists. I was curious so I bought it. It was actually cheap.

I have a video on Instagram where you'll see me using this remover. Here's the link to it.

I am satisfied with the product. Here's my review.

DIY Peel Off Stuff

This is for the people who doesn't know this method yet. First, let me introduce you to the peel-off stuff. What is this?

This is the latex that most nail artist use to easily clean up the skin around their nails whenever they make nail arts with messy methods such as ombre nails, stamping, and such. This made the cleanup using cotton swabs and nail polish remover easier.

New Babes

Last night, I went to the mall with my mother as she is going to buy her own tablet. I was planning to buy only three polishes to not to exceed my hundred-peso limit on buying nail polishes. But damn it! There are a lot of great colors of polishes and I just can't stop my hands from getting some of those. In a nutshell, I spent Php 221.00 for 7 polishes and Bobbie's Cuticle Remover. My mother was in shock upon seeing the total amount on the cash register.

My godmother, who was with us, said if I am going to have a boyfriend, I probably would ask for nail polishes instead of chocolates and flowers.

Plastic Mani nail art

(January 1, 2016)

I removed my other mani last December 31 but I thought it sucked. I did a nail art using plastic. It looked good. Then I tried making fireworks using white polish and dotting tools. I wanted to make fireworks through dots. Well, that didn't turn out good.

New Year's Eve nail art

(December 31, 2015)

2016 is Year of the Monkey. That is why I tried to make a monkey nail art, but for so many times, the monkey gets smudged. It was so annoying and frustrating. I ended up just doing a plain background. The monkey's tail was left on my pinky finger. Haha!

Dry Marble Attempt

(December 29, 2015)

It's been a while since I last posted here. I have done many nail arts lately. This one is my first attempt on dry marble. I see a lot of beautiful dry marbles on Instagram, just like @sveta_sanders, so I thought, why not give it a try?
