What I have today for you is Bobbie's Nail Polish Remover. I use cheap but super effective nail polish removers before, which I know that can dry your nails and cuticles, because they really do the job though I think they have like probably 90% acetone.I don't worry about drying my nails since I always moisturize after removing my nail polish.
So, I decided to try this one.
As you can see, it is Php 37.00 which I bought from Watsons.
This won't take too long so here's the breakdown.
Pros
-It is scented, which is I like since it doesn't have the strong acetone smell.
-cheap
-can be found any Watsons branch or probably in any drugstore, too.
-Only 30% acetone
-non-drying
-removes nail polish easily. It is not as effective than those with more acetone, but since it only has 30% acetone, it is acceptable.
So, this only has one con but this seriously gave me big no factor. This one con of this made me dislike the product and disregard all the pros of it.
Con
-it made my cuticles green.
This is what my cuticles looked like after removing my nail polish. It doesn't really shows up much green-ness of the cuticles rather than in person.
Some of you might say, "Well, you can wash it off."
Yes, it can be wash off, but the thing is, one time I used it to clean my cuticles from the messy nail polish, when I used it with my clean-up brush, it turned the side part of my nails a little bit green. Hence, it stained my nail polish and somehow ruined the nail art. It kind of bummed me out.
Will I buy it again? The funny thing is, I still bought it even after the unpleasant experience it gave me. I thought, why not give it a second chance?
The second time I bought it, I was a little bit satisfied. It removed my nail polish easier than it did the first time I bought it. And also! This time, it didn't stain my cuticles badly. I don't know if there are inconsistency with the production of their nail polish removers, but I am more satisfied with the second one I bought that the first one.
Anyway, I would like to try more nail polish removers to compare. I'm still on search for the best nail polish remover!
xoxo
