Careline Eyebrow Gel Review | It's A Girl-Girl Thing

IT’S REVIEW TIME!

I am not really good with eyebrows and such. Mine are not always on fleek. The only thing I do to my eyebrows is to brush it. I used to put pencil eyeliner on it to even out my brows but because I have such an oily skin, it fades away within an hour or so. I think it is because of my eyebrow hair being thick and long that the liner only sticks to the hair and not to the skin so it is easily wiped off.

And then my friend suggested me an eyebrow gel or mascara. What is an eyebrow mascara? It works just like, obviously, the mascara you put on your lashes. It makes your eyebrow look fuller and thicker. Also, it keeps it in place, for us girls whose eyebrow hair always go over the place.

When my mother and I went to Metro to buy a Bohemian outfit for my acquaintance party, we also went to squeeze up some shopping. Among the products I bought, I also got this eyebrow gel. It is from Careline and it costs Php 125.00.

As you can see below, it is just like the eyelash mascaras. What you do is you scrape off some of the product on the mouth of the container because you wouldn’t want too much of the product on your eyebrows. You wouldn’t want a leech on the top of your eyes, right?

I chose Chocolate because I think this is the darkest shade they have. My eyebrow hair is naturally black so I don’t think it would look good if I put on brown eyebrow gel on it.

To be honest, this was a little bit tricky to put on. During my first tries, I always end up wiping it off with wet wipes and doing it all over again.

After applying it, you need to let it dry for a while so it won’t smudge on your face. My friends were complimenting my eyebrows during our acquaintance party because of this. And the great thing is that it didn’t smudge or got scattered all over my face during the rave party. I was all sweaty and shit for dancing too hard, because hey, I only get to do these stuffs on school parties. Lol. And it didn’t make my me look like I just slapped some charcoal on my face.

Anyways, here’s a review breakdown

Pros

-pretty cheap since I think the product could go a long way

-accessible. It can be found in Watsons, any drugstores or department stores nationwide.

-easy to carry since it is just small

-it stayed on my eyebrow and didn’t smudge

-easy to remove. I just use wet wipes to remove it.

Cons

-application can be little tricky

-could be messy if you didn’t wait for it to set

Will I buy it again? Yes! This product has a great quality. I recommend you to buy it, too.
