Last October, it was my very first time for three years to buy a new nail polish and actually wear one. When I was still in high school, I just wear nail polish occasionally. The last polish I wore, as I remember, was cracking nails which I don't remember what brand it is and that was during my Christmas Party way back then.
So, I was wandering around Watsons and then I saw this whole rack of nail polish. I went over and chose what should I try. The saleslady beside me suggested this. I was not sure of buying it because it looks old, but I wanted to try it.
She said it is a shade shifting nail polish. It was a Purple Chameleon. I can't remember how much I got it but it wouldn't go over Php 40.00. I was dying to try it.
The first photo, the purple one, is the original color of the polish. Then, I washed the dishes to see if it works. The water was really cold so after I washed everything, it changed into something like red violet. I was a little bit amazed because it actually worked, but I expected more from it.
Also, I didn't really like the consistency of the polish. It is kind of thick and sort of hard to apply. Probably because it is an old stock. Anyway, it looks beautiful.
But after a month, I checked it and it doesn't look good. It became sticky. Now after two months, this is what it looks like.
It is pretty gooey, sticky and I don't think I could apply it on my nails anymore. That is sad.
xoxo
